WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Croatia enjoys hot, sunny summers from May until October with the best weather from June to September.
HOW DO I SORT MY FLIGHTS?
Flights are not included in the tour price. You can book your own flights or get in touch with Mel to arrange these for you, and maybe even have the option to fly out with Mel and other women on the tour from Manchester. You will need to arrive in Split on the morning of Day 1 of the tour so you don't miss the first activity that afternoon, and a later flight on Day 8 would be preferable. If you want to head to Croatia for longer, or travel on to other parts of Europe as part of your trip, we can also help you with that too, as a fully licensed travel agent as well as tour operator.
WHAT IS THE AGE GROUP?
Travel Queen tours are for women aged 25 to 59 who are up for fun and adventure!
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
You need to be of a good level of fitness as some tours and trips involve a lot of walking in the hot and sunny climate of Croatia, sometimes up steep steps due to the hilly Mediterranean landscape and city walls. You also need to be able to climb in and out of sailboats and carry your own bag to and on and off ferries.
WILL I GET TO MEET OTHER WOMEN
ON THE TOUR BEFORE WE GO?
Travel Queen runs events across the UK where you can come along to find out more about our tours and even meet other women thinking of booking on. If you'd like to know more just get in touch.
On every trip we hold a pre-trip meet up just for the women on your tour, so you can all get to know one another. We also create a closed Facebook group for everyone going on the tour too, where we share useful tips and advice and where you can all ask questions and get to know each other in the lead up to the tour.
I'M IN! HOW DO I BOOK?
Great - you're in for the trip of a lifetime! You can book online here on the website with a £295 deposit or give Mel a call on 07967 788845 to book over the phone. The balance is due 2 months before the tour and you can choose to pay in instalments in the lead up to this date or however suits you best.
WILL I BE SHARING A ROOM?
Yes you will share a twin or double room with other women on the tour. It would cost a lot more if we didn't share! Single supplements for your own room are not possible as this would take the place of someone else that could join the tour.
HOW MUCH SPENDING MONEY WILL I NEED?
All accommodation, trips, activities, transfers and breakfasts are included in the tour price. You'll need spending money for your other meals and drinks, any shopping you might want to do and any additional activities that aren't included in the tour or that are just optional suggestions for you to choose from during the allocated free time. It is very difficult to advise how much as it depends on what you like to eat and drink (and how much of it!) plus whether you want to do lots in your free time or just relax.
WHO WILL BE OUR GROUP LEADER?
Your group leader will either be Travel Queen Owner, Mel Stephens, who has personally created the tour or someone amazing that Mel trusts to deliver the tour on her behalf and make sure you have an incredible experience! Mel is passionate about creating exciting, fun adventures with style for women that want others to travel and enjoy beautiful destinations with. She or our guide will be there day and night throughout the whole tour to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone has a fantastic time!
